What is the proper Exercising for “You”

What is the proper Exercising for “YOU”

Would like to see what is the general opinion of other people when it comes to exercising.

There are many ways of exercising today..
Those are:
Swimming, Running, Weightlifting, Fitness Classes, Dancing, Martial Arts, Indoor-Outdoor training’s, etc…

So you have a wide choice of  exercises and ways  to get “fit”.
The right question to ask your self is: “What is the proper Exercising for ME”?

To know the answer of that question, you should have some idea what would you like to do and what is your goal to achieve?!

The answer is different for each person. We are not the same, on the end of the day we are all humans and we have different ideas in our heads.

Personally for me, I never been a big into football or any other mainstream sport.
I was always the “weird one” if you ask my friends. They all been into football, basketball, etc, but I loved something else.
My father was a big into Martial Arts and Fighting Sports. So naturally I followed his steps and continued family love towards all the “mad sports“.
These are the martial arts I’ve done in my life up to now:

  • Started with Karate first, as most of the kids did back home. Did pretty good in that. Achieved the Black Belt, Dan 1 rank; Trained some great kids and teenagers; represented my town and my country (RSK) then; Competed on National and International level and won many medals and awards;
    Could achieved a lot more and go a long way, but as every other teenager I just dropped it one day. To be honest, till this day I am not sure why I didn’t continued…hmmm.. Will have to think about it…

  • Then naturally came other fighting Martial Arts like Jiu Jitsu and Kick Boxing.
    I’ve done Kick Boxing for a while. Really enjoyed every training, from physically hard exercises to sparring’s with different opponents. Learned a lot and improved my boxing skills. 

  • Then came Krav Maga. Krav Maga is not a Martial Art but Self Defense system that incorporates all the good stuff from other orthodox martial arts like Boxing, Aikido, Karate, Kick Boxing, Judo, etc…
    Its a great way of getting fit and exercise a lot. Krav Maga training’s are designed that one learn how to defend them-self and also to get fit and more aware of the situations they might find them self in.

Through the years doing different Martial Arts, I had a pleasure meeting some great people and magnificent athletes.
I attended some very good seminars with great teachers and Martial Artists, also had pleasure training and educating some wonderful people.

I am not saying that Martial Arts are the best for everyone, but if you go that way I think you want make mistakes. You will do some great training’s, get fitter, braver and aware of your possibilities.

As I said on the start of this article, there are different ways of exercising for different people. You should choose the one that suits you and that you can achieve your goals through it. Would those goals be getting fitter, loosing weight or just doing it to enjoy and spend some time with friends.
Everyone should do some kind of sport and exercise for their own well being.

Train, exercise and enjoy yourself….
